Connecting Interactive Brokers

In this lesson

1. You create a token and a Flex Query in IBKR. You copy each of them into Rendity.
2. Rendity only receives the statement IBKR creates once a day. Nobody can use the token to trade or move money, and you can switch it off in IBKR at any time. A trade you make today shows up in Rendity tomorrow at the earliest.
3. The setup takes 15 to 20 minutes. The setup guide in Rendity walks you through each step. At the end Rendity checks everything, and the first import starts.
4. A red dot stands for IBKR, a green square for Rendity. Where the guide shows a red dot, you click in IBKR. A green square marks a step in Rendity.

Where to find it in Rendity

For a new account, the setup guide opens by itself after you sign up. Later you find it under Settings → IBKR connection → Open the guided setup. You generate the token in IBKR under Settings → Flex Web Service.
