In this lesson

  1. The Positions page shows the total income of every stock. That includes stocks you still hold and stocks you sold. Sold stocks are listed under “Previously held” with what they earned in the end.
  2. Total income is what the stock has already brought in. It includes realized gains, premiums and dividends. Unrealized P&L is what is still open.
  3. You can sort the list by total income. That shows you which stocks really did the work. Every row opens the stock’s own page and chart.

The example: Apple, and KDP after the sale

On the Positions page, Apple shows 200 shares and one open call. The same row shows total income so far, current value and unrealized P&L.

Further down, under “Previously held”, you find KDP. Imagine you want to know how each sale turned out. This is where you look up what KDP earned in the end.

Sort by total income and you see in one look which stocks brought in the most. Click a row to open the position page.

Where to find it in Rendity

On the Positions page. Stocks you sold are further down under “Previously held”. The list shows your display currency and the position page shows the stock’s own currency, so the numbers look different and mean the same.
