Choosing the period
How did last month go, or this year?
Video coming soon
In this lesson
- The period at the top decides which days a page looks at. You choose a year, a quarter, a month or a custom range. That way the same page can answer “all time”, “this year” or “last month”.
- The period stays as you move between pages. If you choose October 2026, Income, Daily P&L and the Cash Ledger show October 2026 too.
- Some pages always show all time. The dashboard is one of them. There the pill says “All Time” and cannot be changed.
The example: October 2026 across pages
On Performance, the pill at the top says “All Time”. You click it and choose 2026, then a quarter, and then the month of October 2026. You can also set a custom range.
With October 2026 chosen, you open Income, then Daily P&L, then the Cash Ledger. Each of these pages still shows October 2026.
On the dashboard the pill always says “All Time”. If a number looks too small, check the period first. You may still be on last month.
Where to find it in Rendity
In the header at the top, for example on Performance, Income, Daily P&L and the Cash Ledger. On the Dashboard the pill is fixed at “All Time”.
